Literally.

Watch the video.

Nearly four months ago, Fetterman suffered a stroke. The video, from a recent and rare campaign stop, suggests that he's not recovering well.

Fetterman was, essentially, foisted on Pennsylvania voters as the Dem candidate for Senate by the Dem smoke filled room. He had no opponent in the primary.

Dr Oz is a weak candidate, politically, but Fetterman is frail physically.

Oz is dabbling in exposing Fetterman's health issues in various ways, playing clips of Fetterman stammering in YouTube ads and taunting him to debate.

Bottom line. Fetterman isn't physically fit enough to serve as a US Senator.

Still, Oz is so pathetic a candidate, Fetterman may win.

Thank you for another medical diagnosis from afar. We all know your expertise in the area of physical and mental stamina. However you may be unaware that John Fetterman has already agreed to a debate in October. This is in keeping with past Pennsylvania Senate races.

You,Hate, and the Republican MAGAs can mock Fettrman over his stroke, like you did pretending that Biden was suffering from dementia, but Fetterman’s doctors and cardiologist, the ones who actually know, disagree with your amateur diagnosis, and Biden (who rocked the country with his speech last week) has been doing an incredibly good job putting our country back on track after the Trump debacle, more than demonstrates that any kind of dementia is and was false.
It’s always easier to spread rumors of someones supposed physical/mental handicaps than it is to try to argue that their accomplishments and policies are not what the American people want to see happen.

It seems HtS and his Trumpy ilk are making the same mistake with Fetterman as they did with the Biden/Trump debates. Prior to the debate, HtS (then pb) was posting that Biden was senile and that he'd be embarrassed in the debates. He opined it was cruel for "his handlers" to allow him on the same stage as Trump. If you were to believe HtS and other Republicans Biden would be lucky if he could keep from lolling his tongue and drooling

Republicans are already bragging how Dr. Oz, as seasoned television personality, will be in his element during the live TV debate. Oz is suggesting that Fetterman is incapacitated from his recent stroke. This is contrary to the traditional political debate strategy when one side would praise their opponent's oratory abilities so as to lower the bar for themselves.

As you might remember, by a large margin most debate viewers thought that Biden won both debates. See link.

Apparently you didn't see the video.

Oz is a HORRIBLE debate but he can put a sentence together.

    Fetterman can't.

"The most common cause of aphasia is a stroke because of how the blood vessels are arranged in the brain."

    Fetterman has it.

HtS, then you must believe and predict that Dr Oz will win the debate hands down. Let's see what happens.

  7. by HatetheSwamp on September 11, 2022 9:23 am

What pb thinks is that, IF the debate happens, the message voters will take away is that Fetterman is unwell. No matter how poorly Oz performs, the debate will be about Fetterman's health.

Both of pb's in laws died from the effects of strokes. With all the talented medical care Fetterman has received, after all this time, he's probably going to struggle with speech permanently.

Before the stroke, Fetterman's career was built on the power of his personality. He's not that man now.

I've said many times, that one of the curses of OrangeMan, is the GOPs who won primaries because of his endorsement.

For the sake of a red wave in 024, pb hopes that Oz and other Trump candidates fail.

Hts, I'm afraid you are setting yourself up for disappointment. In about a month we'll find out if Dr Oz is capable of beating a patient who is suffering from the ravages of a stroke in a debate.

  9. by HatetheSwamp on September 11, 2022 11:20 am

Hts, I'm afraid you are setting yourself up for disappointment.

You mean, I'll be disappointed in my hope that Oz and a slew of Trump candidates will lose?

  10. by Curt_Anderson on September 11, 2022 11:22 am
So you will be voting for Fetterman and not for Oz?

  11. by HatetheSwamp on September 11, 2022 11:31 am

You probably have noted pb's propensity to vote and have to puke afterwards.

pb'll vote against Fetterman in November...as he voted against Oz in the primary.

  12. by Donna on September 11, 2022 11:36 am

So you'll be voting for Oz in November.

  13. by HatetheSwamp on September 11, 2022 3:42 pm

    Donna,

Fetterman's more progressive than Bernie. I'll just vote for Oz, then blow chow.

I'll even vote for Mastriano. He's even worse than Oz. That vote will be less traumatic because he has no chance at all of losing.

  14. by Curt_Anderson on September 11, 2022 4:08 pm
    HtS,
Since your diagnosis is that Fetterman is incapacitated and barely intelligible when he speaks because of his stroke, wouldn't it be safer to vote for Fetterman who will probably have little to no influence in the Senate? Better the guy at death's door than the nausea inducing Dr. Oz.

How progressive can a sick man be? He probably won't be well enough to cast many votes if any.

  15. by HatetheSwamp on September 11, 2022 5:10 pm

Since your diagnosis is that Fetterman is incapacitated and barely intelligible when he speaks because of his stroke...

    What?

Voters will see...hear...that Fetterman ain't who he used to be. pb thinks that it's unlikely that he ever will be if he's still this impaired so long after the stroke.

My guess is that the Dems are hoping he can hold on to his once huuuuuuuuuge lead. Josh Shapiro will almost certainly win the governor’s race. He can replace Fetterman with another Dem if need be.

This is what hatred can do to a person, not only can it adversely affect the person mentally and emotionally but in can even make them physically ill (puking their chow), and for many it requires them to live in a constant state of cognitive dissonance.

I think I can safely speak for those of us, woke, liberal, snowflake democrats, or whatever label is used use, when I say that those are not anything we experience when we step into the voting booth.

Personally, I can’t imagine ever voting for someone I hope loses and then stepping out and puking up my lunch because of what I just did.

I think it’s time you put away your pride and simply acknowledge that, yes, you made a mistake backing the wrong side all this time but now you can see how and why it happened. You’ll immediately feel that a huge burden has been lifted off your shoulders and at last you”ll be able to feel good again !

    "cheers" 🍻

Exactly. You have no love for America, nor shame, nor conscience, nor the ability to think critically nor with nuance.

    HatetheSwamp,

The hatred you experience for us “the swamp” and our values and principles, can often cause the hater to see things in reverse as a means of self protection.

In other words, the person who loves his country is seen by the hater as someone who has no love for his country. How else could the hater justify his feelings?

  19. by HatetheSwamp on September 12, 2022 7:42 am

My comment was not a Swamp thing. It was a:

"You Blue MAGA progressives living brainlessly in lockstep with your leadership according to a vile and shameless rigid orthodoxy that makes Muslim Fundamentalism seem like a haven of intellectual freedom" thing.

The right-wing Swamp ain't like that.

  20. by islander on September 12, 2022 9:21 am

So you hate "You Blue MAGA progressives living brainlessly in lockstep with your leadership according to a vile and shameless rigid orthodoxy that makes Muslim Fundamentalism seem like a haven of intellectual freedom" .

So you hate a concept that doesn’t exist in reality except in your own mind and that is what causes you to vote for someone you hope loses and then step outside and puke up your lunch. Do you think holding on to this irrational hatred is worth it?

Actually, you need to look at the threads you've posted. Long story short, I've already asked for independent verification from real sources.
