More former Republican officials come out in support of Josh Shapiro in Pa. governor’s race
HARRISBURG — Several more Republican leaders announced Tuesday that they will go against their political party and support Attorney General Josh Shapiro in the November gubernatorial election.
Seven former GOP officials — including former Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff and former Allegheny County state Rep. Jim Kelly — said they’ll support Mr. Shapiro, the state’s Democratic nominee, in the 2022 election.
Mr. Chertoff was the second secretary of the Department of Homeland Security under George W. Bush. Mr. Kelly was a Republican member of the Pennsylvania House who represented parts of Allegheny County in the 1970s and ‘80s.
Josh Shapiro is a political hack who has successfully turned the conversation in the campaign away from the fact he quashed legitimate questions about irregularities in the presidential vote count in the 020 election in Pennsylvania. He was the Attorney General at the time. He could have been an advocate for election integrity. He chose not to be. pb remembers.
Still, Doug Mastriano is an unabashed Ultra-MAGA. He was at the Capitol on J6, but didn't participate in the riot. He is the worst of Ultra-MAGA-ism...
...as nasty, hateful and self-righteousness as the Flatulent Fool was toward conservatives on Thursday night.
And, proving that GOPs are open minded and grant freedom to each other, many Pennsylvania GOPs are supporting the Dem in the gubernatorial election...as flawed as Shapiro is.
This is why pb grooves on being a GOP.
And, how pb has come to understand that you latter-day progressives really do hate freedom of thought.
You either are afraid to think for yourselves, or you love the security of living in conformity. You are what 1960s anti-Commie Christian Fundamentalists were.
Ugly...
...but true.
In GOP land, we are free to be ourselves and think for ourselves, without fear of repercussion.
You Blue MAGA Swampcult progressives ain't.
Nor, apparently, do you want to be.
