First off, I seriously doubt that Trump is financially supporting January 6th insurrectionists. I would need to see somebody produce a check with Trump's signature before I believe it.
Second, he should not be supporting those traitors if he is telling the truth.
Third, Trump knows his supporters are a gullible bunch. He could have pardoned those rioters before he absconded with cartons of secret documents in the final couple of weeks of his presidency.
