I saw this link on Twitter...from the GOP Senate Committee:
Washington, D.C. – Two-Faced Tim Ryan claims he wants to lower taxes for Ohioans, but he has voted for higher taxes 113 times, totaling at least $6.74 trillion, with the most recent vote being a vote to raise middle-class taxes. Specifically that bill would raise taxes by $326 billion...
Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Lizzie Litzow: “Wow. Voting for higher taxes 113 times is outrageous, especially for someone who claims he wants to cut taxes on the campaign trail. Ohioans deserve the truth and the truth is that Tim Ryan is a two-faced phony politician who says one thing and does the exact opposite.”
And, he is!
Dems in both Houses voted for the Manchin bill, I think unanimously. And, while not political suicide, it's certainly risky behavior.
Go for it, Chuck You and Nancy!
That "feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" may be an empty suit, but Dem congressional leadership can get the job done!
