A majority of Americans also think the Jan. 6 committee has been fair.

The good news for Americans who love democracy and oppose autocracy, is that even if Trump never faces jury, the court of public opinion is already passing judgment.

(ABC News)With the first full week of hearings for the House select committee's investigation into the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol now complete, nearly 6 in 10 Americans believe former President Donald Trump should be charged with a crime for his role in the incident, a new ABC News/Ipsos poll finds.

Six in 10 Americans also believe the committee is conducting a fair and impartial investigation, according to the poll.

In the poll, which was conducted by Ipsos in partnership with ABC News using Ipsos' KnowledgePanel, 58% of Americans think Trump should be charged with a crime for his role in the riot. That's up slightly from late April, before the hearings began, when an ABC News/Washington Post poll found that 52% of Americans thought the former president should be charged.

As I stated in two other threads. Go for it (outside the dimocrate run house) and in a real courtroom. It'll be a waste of money, but what the fuk. People are worried sick about their security, feeding their kids, getting to work, homelessness, and the the US is falling to sht, but we'll just do this for fun.

The sheep need to start realizing the rest of the world doesn't give a sht about CRT and all the other bullsht.
    They're worried about...

    1. Physiological Needs:

Food, water, clothing, sleep, and shelter are the bare necessities for anyone’s survival. Without these need fulfilled, you can't move to the next step.

This especially hits a brand new sector not seen since 1929. Middle class families. People that can't get to their jobs because the cost of gas isn't paying the rent or food.

    2. Safety and Security:

Once a person’s basic needs are satisfied, the want for order and predictability sets in. There are many barriers that may prevent people experiencing homelessness from finding job security and building a stable social network. Substance abuse, trauma and PTSD, and mental or physical health challenges are difficult to address without a long-term safe place to live.

Right now, the largest buyer of guns in the US are blacks and Hispanics buying legal guns so they can protect their families from the "defund" movement. They know how bad it is and in larger blue cities, they know the police can't or won't come.

    3. Love and Belonging

Everyone yearns for family and connection. Many folks are traumatized and find themselves without housing after experiencing domestic violence, abuse, or addiction, and mental health challenges. Many people living unhoused for the first time in generations, find themselves estranged from family and friends.

Pedo Joe has done this to hundred of thousands by shipping US goods production overseas, making us whores to the Saudis, Russians, and Chinese.

olde dude has a really great point. If only they would just knock it off with these hearings and all their bothering to get to the bottom of the worst Constitutional crisis of a great many decades, the Republicans would surely work with the Democrats in helping to come up with plans to particularly help average Americans. All the things olde dude brings up would suddenly be addressed by our congress and rectified.

Nobody realizes, like olde dude does, that everyone in government is all working on the same exact thing all at the same time. All the time. They either walk, or they chew gum. No more than one thing can ever be worked on at the same time in Washington and everyone must all be working on it simultaneously. It's even in the Constitution I think.

    And, he was immaculated!

    On schedule!

    Peacefully!

"...worst Constitutional crisis..." My flabby rump. Bahahahahahahahahahaha.

There's a lot that was ugly on January 6. But, c'mon man. Gimme a break!
