Today, the national price per gallon is exactly $5.00/gallon and Pennsylvania has one of the highest gas taxes in the nation.
I was out running errands and saw, on my route, gas for $4.999. My tank was about one tenth full, so I decided to stop in and beat Joe Biden at his own game...and buy gas for less than $5/gal.
And, I did.
The total was $57.75. My car has a setting that predicts, fairly accurately, how many miles until the tank's empty. It said, 622. So, I should be able to pay less than 10c a gallon for gas one more time.
We don't have much planned for the next few weeks. It may be about a month until we fill up again. Last tank, I paid $4.33/gal.. So, up 66c in less than a month. Next one, oy!, I don't even want to guess.
Don't blame me.
