A theme in the news these days which fascinates me is the growing backlash against the celebration of LGBTQ Pride. The celebration is bigger business than ever but, among the unwoke, resistance, that is spontaneous and unorganized (for now, at least) and extremely energetic is the story of Pride month 2022, as pb sees it.
I've been tracking it and I will journal it here.
Note this story of LGBT2SQ overreach. Note that LGBT2SQ propagandists, recruiters and groomers got busted over the behind-parents'-backs thing at the high school.
The drag show was part of an event synchronized as “Pride in the Park” and organized by the Dubois County Pride Committee in conjunction with the City of Jasper.
In a similar incident at an Iowa high school, students were invited to a drag show without their parents’ warning and without a permit being signed. The Libs of TikTok account posted video of the inappropriate event, and the high school apologized and launched an investigation into the matter.
Grooming?
I'd love to know what po and Donna think about this, until now, increasing cacophony of congratulations to the rainbow crowd for whom it is they like to smooch. Donna, at least, is reasonable about stuff like this.
I listened, with fascination, to the Guy Benson Show yesterday. Guy's the gay guy Curt's never heard of...
...but Guy's not woke.
He had a lengthy chat with Jason Rantz, a radio talk show guy from Seattle. I'd never heard of Rantz but, after checking him out, it seems that he's gay but reeeeeeeeeeally not woke.
These guys are openly gay but not in line with the wokeness that, until now, seemed inseparable from LGBT2SQ-ism.
So, I'm watching the Pride backlash...which I'm beginning to think is a woke backlash.
