Senate Republicans block domestic terrorism bill because they don't want to lose the votes from White supremacists and Nazis.

"The bill passed the Democratic-led House days after the Buffalo shooting, when a self-described white supremacist targeted a grocery store in a largely Black neighborhood and killed 10 people. One House Republican, Rep. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, voted with Democrats to approve the bill.

The legislation would require the FBI, Justice Department and Department of Homeland Security to open offices dedicated to combating domestic terrorism and create a task force to address white supremacy in the U.S. military. The three agencies would be tasked with crafting a report every six months examining "the domestic terrorism threat posed by White supremacists and neo-Nazis, including White supremacist and neo-Nazi infiltration of Federal, State, and local law enforcement agencies and the uniformed service."

The Republican Party seems determined to destroy America.

What the hell is wrong with these Republicans? We have a serious problem with mass shootings. No other country on the planet comes close to the magnitude of the problem we have in America. Yet Republican politicians repeatedly block sensible policies that would help lessen these kinds of incidents.

    Donna,

Yesterday, I noted, after Beto's disgusting display of insensitivity, that what we're seeing now is what I despise about your Swamp.

GOPs are crying crocodile tears and Dems are grandstanding.

Dems knew that GOPs would reject this legislation but they don't want to do something. They want to score political points.

And, I was holding my breath counting how long, after Uvalde, a Blue MAGA would mention White Supremacy.

    Sheeeeeeeeeeeesh!

I support Beto 100%. More people should do what he did. He was setting an example.

The issue was already political because every one of those asshole politicians on that stage make their NRA endorsements part of their political campaigns.

  4. by HatetheSwamp on May 27, 2022 8:44 am

Yeah. Things are much safer in schools all across the nations thanks to Beto.

The Swamp ain't the answer, Donna.

All Beto did, was set the example of what a political clown is.

  5. by Ponderer on May 27, 2022 8:57 am

Hate, you god damned insensitive, sociopathic, non-empathetic asshole. You wouldn't know what actual human sensitivity was if it bit your f🖕cking cock off.

You are very literally one of the sickest, most insensitive excuses for a human being that I have ever come in contact with in my entire life.

You have absolutely no concept, no understanding of how fed up sane people are in this country with your political party's sociopathic and total dismissal... your glossing over of this entire subject. Among many other subjects. But then I know from years of exposure to you know how absolutely in love and glowingly proud you silently are of your party's sociopathy and criminality, as you know that it's your party's primary tool that it uses to "stick it to those Democrats" and win any elections at all.

Go ahead and let the smokescreen of denials fly. What I am saying about you is blatantly obvious and always has been.

It's no wonder that you can't understand anything about what Beto did, since you are incapable of harboring any basic human empathy within your being at all. Beto was personifying and acting upon the frustration that all sane people have increasingly experienced for decades over how the GQP is simply against allowing any action to prevent anything that might prevent tragedies like this from happening. NOTHING! Your party will allow NOTHING to be done to combat this sickness in our country. NOTHING WHATSOEVER! So you know, you can go totally f🖕ck yourself about blaming the Democrats for what they can't do because of them.

    "Pro Life" my f🖕cking eye.

You immoral, ungodly Champions of Hypocrisy literally make me physically ill. Just as you make the huge portion of this country who voted your immoral, sociopathic, Orange Messiah out of an office. But I guess according to you and your cadre of psychopaths, we're just supposed to shut up and let the Republicans lull everyone back to sleep until the next shooting like this eats up the news cycle.

Did Beto do anything that is actually going to help the situation or change any Republicans' minds about trying to stop the psychopathic gun violence in this country? Am I actually saying anything here to you that is going to actually change your mind or help the situation? Is anything going to ever get the Republican party and their beloved psychopathic, ammosexual enablers to ever make the tiniest shred of sacrifice to combat this plague that has befallen our country? I doubt it.

But again, you and your party are totally incapable of understanding the frustration and exasperation that sane Americans have over how dead-set Republicans are about allowing and facilitating gun violence. No one will ever teach you, or the governor of Texas, or Mitch McConnell, or any Republican law makers how to be actual, real caring human beings. It would be like trying to teach a dog how to speak Mandarin backwards. You are a f🖕cking lost cause, as unfortunately for America, the leadership of and a great deal of your political party is.

You and your party will be the death of this country. And all the while, at every asinine, demented stage of your psychotic overthrow of our democracy, you will blame your destruction of this country on your flaming bullshit delusions about us. Like how America simply has to allow 18 year olds with mental health issues to buy an arsenal of weaponry to fulfill his publicly espoused, homicidal plans because... you know... the "Second Amendment"... Or like how those damned Democrats are gonna come to your house and take all your precious, sacred guns away... Or how we want to give the whole country over to Muslims and Black Lives Matter and illegal immigrants... Or how we want to forcibly make your straight children gay...

Or how an absolutely legitimate and fully certified election was somehow invisibly rigged to be over seven million votes off without a single solitary molecule of actual evidence that would give dozens of courts any legitimate reason to give your case the time of day, and so therefore the country needs to abandon its near quarter millennia of foundational democracy altogether and become a permanent One-Party, authoritarian (Republican) nation.

I know you will never understand how sane, empathetic people think or why they might act upon their frustrations with you. I can't describe the color purple to a life-long blind person so that they might even have a clue what it was like.

That's why I have pulled out all the stops with you in the last couple years. I've given up on you. I've wrote novels-worth of attempts to open your eyes for the last fifteen or so years. I used to think there was some sliver of hope for you. You seemed like there was some shred of sanity somewhere within you.

But there is not. I know it now. I am resigned to it. I am resigned to the fact that you are doomed to live out the rest of your life not giving a flying f🖕ck about people who either aren't you or aren't people you feel are members of your tribe. You are committed to being the stinking, sociopathic pile of insensitive human excrement that you always have been, you disgusting, unchristian monster.

    🖕

"literally one of the sickest, most insensitive excuses for a human being"

I think I'll put that on my tombstone.

    po,

Do you want to understand why people still flock to Trump rallies?

Mainstream politics have degenerated the to point that Beto can put on that ridiculous stunt, only to have people like you applaud it and effin DEFEND it.

So, next time Trump holds a rally attended by thousands, thank Beto...and take some credit for yourself, too.

  7. by Ponderer on May 27, 2022 11:46 am

That's right. All of the right's sociopathy, dishonesty, immorality and incompetence is the fault of the left. All of their sociopathy, immorality and incompetence can be excused and ignored because... you know... The Democrats.

I mean hey, it's not your fault that the left forces you and the Republicans to be flaming inhuman sociopathic bullshitting assholes. Nothing you ignorant maniacs EVER do or are is actually your fault.

    Gimme a fucking break.

Thank you, Ponderer !!! For telling it like it is. What you said is spot on and you said it well !

  9. by HatetheSwamp on May 27, 2022 1:15 pm

    po,

I honestly think that life in a representative republic ain't for you.

You, of in the SS gang, came across to me as the most supportive of blue abuse of individual liberties during the pandemic. Let Big Brother do as he please and the rest of us be d@mned, eh!!!!!?

Now, you chafe that a bustling movement has emerged and continues, perhaps even grows, as a reaction against the desire of you, and people like you, to foist yourself on the rest of the country. On top of that, you pitch a hissy at people uncomfortable with your desire to permit you, and your Swamp, to suggest that brainless acts like Beto's are statesmanlike.

You really should look for a fascist state that comes reasonably close to sharing your values and move there.

  10. by Ponderer on May 27, 2022 3:49 pm

Thanks, Isle. I knew that the truth of anything I said would be totally lost on Hate. But I was still compelled to say it. And I knew that nothing that he responded with would be relevant to reality in any way. And I was right. I'm not even going to bother wasting any more key strokes on his sorry, insurrectionist-supporting ass anymore.

  11. by islander on May 27, 2022 3:56 pm

Pondy- As we all know it’s called “Blame shifting”—saying that if you acted differently he wouldn’t have “had to” vote for Trump, so it’s really all your fault that Trump got to be president and that lots of kooks come to his his rallies and the Republican Party wouldn’t be the disaster that it has become !! 🙄

    Hate is such a phony !!! 🤣

  12. by HatetheSwamp on May 27, 2022 4:16 pm

Whoa, after all this time, you're wrong about me.

I think Trump was an effin great President.

He's an a$$hole. But, he was a great President.

And, you gave me that crook Hillary and "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" who busted the eardrums of the Duchess of Cornwall with flatulence and thinks he used to drive a truck as my alternatives.

  13. by islander on May 27, 2022 4:48 pm

"He's an a$$hole. But, he was a great President."

Of course somebody like "you" would think he was a great president...In his own twisted grasp of reality, just like you, Trump thought he was a great president too! In fact, he thought he was simply "the greatest" in just about everything!!! LoL !!!

You remind me of Trump. You have a lot in common ! 😁

My old John Deere garden tractor gave out this spring while Joe Biden was President.

Our local grocery store is starting to replace my favorite brands with their own brand.

I cant find "Sugar Jets" breakfast cereal anymore

My new Milwaukee cordless trim stringer arrived but didn't include a shoulder strap.

My internet service was down the other day for almost 24 hrs.

The mailman was extremely late dropping off the mail on Wed.

I'm beginning to see what you mean and to think like you...all of this bad stuff happening while Biden is president, none of this would have happened under a good president's watch. No wonder you think Trump was such a great president. 🤔

  16. by HatetheSwamp on May 28, 2022 5:24 am

    Right.

538 has net approval of "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" four points below OrangeMan's at this point in his presidency. Once the Former Truck Driver was +10!

As always for you sanctimones, you're right and the rest of us who aren't enlightened Blue MAGA Swampcultists, are just plain wrong.

    Bahahahahahahahahahaha.

  20. by HatetheSwamp on May 28, 2022 6:29 am

    Happier?, heck!

I often lay awake at night trying to figure out how I can become a Blue MAGA SwampMan.

But, sadly, I just don't seem to have the Right Stuff.

  21. by Ponderer on May 29, 2022 8:26 am

Isle, we really do need to be more accepting and tolerant of Hate and his side's views.

I mean, if our side says that two plus two equals four, and Hate's side says that two plus two equals twelve thousand six hundred forty seven point nine, who are we to assert that we are right and he is wrong? Just because we can prove we are correct with facts, explanations, and evidence and he completely and totally can't?

We put too much importance on facts and evidence and "mathematical computations". Facts are just opinions. Evidence is only delusion. Numbers are subjective. Hate has tried for so long now to get us to understand that the reality is that no one really knows how math works. that experts don't know any more than anyone else does about it. Math experts are only giving us their biased opinions about what you get when you put two and two together. It's in their interest that we all believe that two plus two equals four. So why should we believe them?

We need to completely alter our apparently defective understanding of the the world to that of Hate's perspective and agree with him that no one can ever discern the the real truth about how much two plus two equals.

If Hate's world works with him believing that two plus two equals twelve thousand six hundred forty seven point nine and he and his neighbors and political party can exist and live their lives believing that two plus two equals twelve thousand six hundred forty seven point nine without presenting anything that actually proves or explains how that could be the case, then that's what the real truth must actually be! What are our "facts" and "evidence" and mathematical computations in the face of the reality that Hate has been able to set his mind to without any of that meaningless falderal whatsoever? Be fair!

So we should always remain open to what two plus two equals. No one can say for sure. Hate's guess is as good as ours or anyone else's. I mean, we certainly don't want to be labeled as "intolerant"!

Besides, as you know, math has always had a liberal bias anyways.
