The following is the Summary section of a 2010 Defense Intelligence Reference Document from Acquisition Threat Support entitled Anomalous Acute and Subacute Field Effects on Human Biological Tissues.

SUMMARY
This paper relates, summarizes, and analyzes evidence of unintended injury to human observers by anomalous advanced aerospace systems [A.K.A. UFOs or the new term UAP]. Additionally, an argument is made that the subsequent work can inform (e.g., reverse engineer), through clinical diagnoses, certain physical characteristics of possible future advanced aerospace systems from unknown provenance that may be a threat to United States Interests.

The evidence discussed includes scientific material that has been peer- reviewed, contained in recently declassified government documents, and early emergent clinical medical analyses also underway in companion research studies.

+ Based on historical cases, humans have been found to have been injured from exposures to anomalous vehicles, especially airborne, and when in relatively close proximity.

+ The primary mechanisms of injury are related to electromagnetic radiation field effects (EMR field effects).

+ The biophysical characteristics of the Injuries are well understood.

+ The energy related propulsion systems are not well understood.

+ The potential deployment of systems is thus important to understand.

+ Sufficient incidents/accidents have been accurately reported, and medical data acquired, as to supporta hypothesis that some advanced systems are already deployed, and opaque to full US understanding.

+ Amongst the most important pathophysiological effects are:
- Heating and burn injuries
© Ionizing and non-ionizing
© Thermally induced

- Neurological effects
© Cognitive / central nervous system
© Neuromuscular / central & autonomic nervous systems Sensory / peripheral nervous system
© Neuropsychiatric / neuroendocrine

- Auditory / cranial nerves VII & VIII
© Communication & disabling effects
© Noise and central neurocognitive

«Analysis of clinical diagnostic codes together with environmental conditions observed during anomalous events are clustered in meaningful ways.

+ The medical analyses while not requiring the invention of an alternative biophysics, do indicate the use of (to us) unconventional and advanced energy systems.

As it turns out, the Defense Intelligence Agency document is mostly a compilation of reported UAP events, but draws no conclusions. What is significant, though, is that the DIA is compiling UAP reports.

Some of the most compelling UAP reports have from military reports, not limited to the US, as it is a worldwide phenomenon. Since the Pentagon's disclosure in December 2017 that UAP are real, not ours, and that the technology displayed is so far advanced than anything known, displaying maneuvers that seemingly violate the laws of physics, that we don't think they're coming from Russia or China, an amendment has been added to the National Defense Authorization Act for 2022 that would see the dissolution of the Pentagon’s recently-formed UAP Task Force and replace it with a new investigative office with broader powers, strengthening a movement to investigate the intrusion of UFOs into restricted airspace that was initiated in 2020 by Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL).

Introduced as amendment SA 4281 by Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) into the Fiscal Year 2022 National Defense Authorization Act, the changes would call for the establishment of “an office within an appropriate component of the Department of Defense, or within a joint organization of the Department of Defense and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence” that would take on the duties currently being carried out by the Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force. The UAP Task Force, currently operating under the Office of Naval Intelligence, would be either dissolved or placed under the command of the newly-formed investigative office.

Surprisingly well-done UAP report from 60 Minutes Australia. Features retired US Navy pilot Lt. Ryan Graves who reports that ten of his fellow Navy pilots have reported a new type of UAP that looks like a flying black box encased in a translucent sphere. One reportedly missed an F-18 by 20 feet. He also reports that over a two-year period around 2014-16, US Navy pilots encountered UAP daily off the east coast of the US covering an area stretching from Delaware to Florida.
