I wish you'd listen. Good stuff. Benson is sharp and is a GOP insider. Barr is selling his book, ONE DAMN THING AFTER ANOTHER, and is forthcoming. There will be a podcast after the show concludes. I get it from the Audacy app.
Benson and Barr covered the "Perfect Phone Call" which led to the first impeachment and which po is so obsessed about.
The two mentioned January 6, over which Barr thinks Trump practiced poor judgment. Benson didn’t ask, but I don't take it that Barr doesn't think Trump is criminally culpable.
Barr explains the many ways he considers Trump (pb's word) despicable but why he will vote for Trump in 024 if he's the Republican nominee.
Lots of "Inside Baseball" stuff from a guy who was there and, certainly, didn’t suspend his intellect, or his character, to participate in the Trump administration.
Oh, and if I understand it, Donna believes that Barr is part of an international conspiracy to create a Christian theocracy. Nothing came up about that.
