During my formative years, life in the United States was dominated by vigorous, often violent, protests against the President’s war policy.
LBJ was a very poor war time President and week after week, day after day, Americans objected to the inept way the man in the White House used our military and conducted US diplomacy.
Honestly, Lyndon Baines Johnson was a brilliant, master tactical genius compared to the weak, cognitively impaired empty suit in the White House in 2022.
If there are any democratic bones remaining in the American body politic, it will not be long until the protests begin.
Our "President" led a historically tragic withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan. Early on, it appears to many that Joe Biden is handling the Ukraine crisis worse than he handled Afghanistan.
It's already time for Americans who have brains to speak up, to raise their voices in animated opposition to the way their government has responded to what Vladimir Putin is doing.
It's time.
It's already past time.
