At first, when I saw this, my thought was that, with the US's Bill of Rights...with Freedom of Religion as the first clauses of the First Amendment...that this could never happen here...
How soon I forget.
In some blue states, it went almost this far to the point that the Supreme Court of the effin United States was forced to uphold the free exercise of religion.
Thankfully, more than a decade before the creation of the Bill of Rights, Thomas Jefferson, and the Continental Congress, asserted that all of us have rights given to us by God.
Outraged worshippers watched in horror as police stormed a church and disrupted mass to check if they were all wearing masks...
Thursday night's disruption came after police received a tip off that worshippers were not following the rules which require indoor face coverings in the Perth, Peel, South West, Wheatbelt and Great Southern regions.
Parishioners called the intrusion 'troubling' and 'confronting'.
