Sununu said he challenged the Republicans he was meeting with, asking why the party didn't take larger steps to advance its agenda when Republicans controlled Congress and the White House.
"I said, 'OK, so if we're going to get stuff done if we win the White House back, why didn't you do it in 2017 and 2018?'" Sununu asked, saying there were "Crickets. Yeah, crickets," and that "They had no answer."
My take on DC politics since Bush I,: The GOPs talk big but achieve nothing meaningful. The Dems go overboard in doing things offensive to Independents and are voted out of power for the better part of a decade.
Sununu says he won't be content merely to obstruct the agenda of "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap." If the GOPs take the Senate, they'll do nuthin for two years...nuthin of substance...and when a GOP takes the White House in 024, they'll still do nuthin.
This is why pb no longer identifies as a GOP. pb is antiSwamp. The whole DC culture is a dysfunctional mess.
