During the campaign, Joe Biden promised, repeatedly, that he would be the President of all Americans, for the people who voted for him as well as those who voted against him.
Every time he's had an opportunity to keep that promise, he's blown it.
Today was his perfect opportunity to reach out and to lead, as President, to call all Americans to come together. To put the past behind. To forgive.
To say straightforwardly, "For my part, I forgive. I urge you all, Democrat and Republican, liberal and conservative, to forgive."
But, he's angry. He seems more angry in 022 than in 021.
Politically, Joe Biden lost the day.
