"He’s deeply unpopular. He’s old as sh--. He’s largely been ineffective, unless we’re counting judges or whatever the hell inside-baseball scorecard we’re using. And I think he’ll probably get demolished in the midterms," Corbin Trent, former communications director for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, and co-founder of No Excuses PAC said.
This is from a Dem insider, gang.
The reason that I was a Dem for decades is that the Dems were the party with energy. It was the party of the grass roots where outsiders like George McGovern and Jimmy Carter could rise up with the support of non pro political movers and shakers to win the nomination.
Sadly, that hasn't happened for a long time.
But, Joe Biden has proved to be such a weak leader...even within his own party, which controls both Houses of Congress...that it seems that something will have to be done.
Karl Rove has predicted that 024 will be a redo of 1968 when LBJ bowed out of the race, what?, in the spring?, and left the party scurrying, in a shambles to nominate a candidate.
My guess is that, if the Dems lose both Houses of Congress, there will be a smoke filled room coup and that Joe will announce that he's decided on his own, bahahahahahahahahahaha, not to seek reelection.
