Central Permit Techs receive Application for new or remodeled Food Service Plan Review along with fee. Application is placed in Environmental Health Programs Coordinator's (EHPC) mail box. EHPC either assigns application to an Environmental Health Specialist (EHS) or keeps it. EHPC/EHS reviews the application in accordance with North Carolina Regulations. Application Approved? NO YES       Applicant is sent a letter listing all deficiencies and instructions on resubmitting plans. Applicant is contacted about scheduling construction visits and/or final inspection for permit. In some cases a letter may also be sent.
