Are you intending to take a lunch break within 1 hr of your start or finish time?	YES	You cannot take a lunch break within 1hr of either end of your shift.		Is your line manager physically in the store?	YES	Verbally request lunch break from line manager and make sure line manager has responded with a verbal approval before exiting store.

You are entitled to a 30min lunch break.		Is your line manager on shift?		Call line manager. If line manager does not answer, try ringing a second time. Were you able to contact line manager via phone?

		Is a Nuance manager present in store?	YES	Verbally advise Nuance Dept manager you are going for your lunch break. Also SMS line manager advising which manager you have informed if he/she is on shift but not present.

				Call Nuance Dept manager on speed system 71, 43 or 69 from register phone to advise them you are taking lunch.
