Electronic promotion and tenure review process

                 
Candidate creates electronic dossier per provided instructions; submits in pdf format to department chair
Chair or designee adds dept. policies and procedures and external letters, then submits via email to mstprovostpandt@mst.edu
Department P&T Committee completes review; records vote on Summary of Action form and submits recommendation.
Dept, Chair completes review, submits chair's narrative to mstprovostpandt@mst.edu and records recommendation (Y/N) on Summary form
Dept. submits dossier and Summary of Action form with digital signature to mstprovostpandt@mst.edu.









Chancellor reviews the dossier, records recommendation (Y/N) on the Summary of Action form with digital signature.
Provost completes review, records recommendation (Y/N) on Summary of Action form with digital signature; prepares the Provost's letter to the candidate, which is uploaded to the dossier and hard copy sent to the candidate.
Campus P&T Committee completes review; records votes on Summary of Action form with digital signature, sends narrative to mstprovostpandt@mst.edu.
VP&D completes review, records recommendation (Y/N) on the Summary of Action form with digital signature, and sends narrative to mstprovostpandt@mst.edu.
Area Subcommittee completes review, records vote on the Summary of Action form with digital signature, and sends narrative to mstprovostpandt@mst.edu.









Final decision is communicated to candidate via letter from Provost and Chancellor, which is uploaded to dossier.
