That's a problem for Trump, because Cohen was lying on BEHALF of Trump trying to tamp down the Russia connection.

For goodness, as po'd say, freakin friggin EFFINsake. The prosecution hasn't closed its case and Cohen's usefulness to Bragg and Co has suffered about 950 of the death by a thousand cuts, cuts.
Before the defense is finished with the cross examination, we may see a MY COUSIN VINNY story in which the case is dropped before the defense even makes its case.
My heart hurts for you. You have no interest in justice. Truth, clearly, means nuthin to you. You are po. You are already holding the noose in your hands...

Astoundingly, it's Trump's own defense team that is responsible for a slew of insults being said aloud and memorialized in trial testimony. If defense lawyer Todd Blanche is attempting to make Trump a sympathetic figure, I don't think it will work. The jurors would need to forget that Trump has never hesitated to insult others before they feel sorry for him.
