All of the sources I've checked agree that Sanders is one of the biggest rising stars in DC, of either party.

This is undoubtedly a huuuuuuuuge loss for the entire Biden administration.

Kamala has to be the biggest DC disaster since at least Dan Quayle... maybe ever.

Heavily regimented, old-time fascist New York state is being BLASTED by new Covid cases.

"Total patients hospitalized for the virus have climbed by more than 1,000 in a month, reaching 3,093 on Wednesday. As of Thursday, 56 hospitals in the state had a bed capacity of 10% or less, including Albany Medical Center Hospital, Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, according to the state health department."

We don't know what her job is, but somehow according to you her resignation is a "huuuuuuge loss". Whatever it is that she does, I doubt that she's irreplaceable.

That's the nature of good teams; the parts are interchangeable and replaceable.

NY is being blasted by COVID cases no doubt because of all the dimwits who didn't get vaccinated. In Orange County CA, 86% of hospitalized and 88% of ICU COVID cases are unvaccinated dimwits.

Yeah, Donna, all those dimwitted people of color in New York who are cautious about being vaxxed. It's not like they have no reason to mistrust the federal government... particularly with a Dem as President.

And, you betcha. In a state like New York, it's not Trumpsters who are the problem.

Trump won about 4 out of 10 votes in New York, so it's possible that most of them were Trump enthusiasts. As I've noted here more than once, though, there are quite a few anti-vaxxers on the left.
