I don't care what anybody says. Trump's trials won't help his poll numbers.

We don’t really know Joe Biden or Donald Trump. Maybe we should listen to those who do.

(Yahoo)Kayleigh McEnany, a White House press secretary under Donald Trump, defied belief with her latest claim about President Joe Biden.

McEnany, who is now a co-host on Fox News’ “Outnumbered” show, on Monday accused Biden of politicizing COVID-19. “No one has politicized this virus more than President Joe Biden,” she claimed.

Critics couldn’t believe the hypocrisy of McEnany’s allegation, given Trump’s record of politicizing the coronavirus at almost every stage of the pandemic.

The response was a torrent of snarky tweets, as you can imagine.

For example:
Replying to
@FoxNews
Fox is the new Comedy Central

Replying to
@FoxNews
😂😂😂😂😂 It went away in 2 weeks. I still remember.

“No one has politicized this virus more than President Joe Biden,...”

I absolutely agree with Kayleigh, fake boobs and all.

The former 18 wheeler driver effin CAMPAIGNED on the issue of Trump's handling of the Coronavirus. And, since then, he's repeatedly scapegoated GOPs, especially red state governors, especially DeSantis and Abbott, as his failure to lead in defeating Covid has pushed his approval in handling the virus has dipped under water.

If critics are confused about Kayleigh, they, and I guess you, too, are idiots.

Certainly, Trump politicized Covid, but no more than "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" has.

What did Biden blame Republican governors for that they weren't responsible for, Bill?

  3. by HatetheSwamp on December 1, 2021 8:10 am

    Donna,

That's not the point, now is it?

The flatulent fool politicized Covid gratuitously and unnecessarily.

Interestingly, he did it over anti mask and vax mandates and recently, the courts have been slapping down the administration and its strong arm fascist policies.

But, to the point. Kayleigh, fake boobs and all, is spot on about the former 18 wheeler driver. No one has politicized Covid more than he has.

  4. by Donna on December 1, 2021 8:22 am
It certainly is the point. You accused Biden of "scapegoating" some Republican governors. I'm not going to let you weasel out of this. Back it up or retract it.

  5. by HatetheSwamp on December 1, 2021 8:39 am

These are the moments when I have to wonder if po has stolen your SS account. Normally, you're reasonable and as fair and objective as anyone here. Normally... NORMALLY... you're the most fair and objective of us all. Not now.

So, c'mon man. Gimme a break!

It was the go to rhetorical tool for the flatulent fool to attack Govs DiSantis and Abbott...on the rare occasions he took questions from the press...to draw focus on them and place blame on them, particularly when it began to become apparent that defeating Covid warn't gunna be a cake walk during his term...

...and when he issued his, now widely acknowledged, unconstitutional vax mandate policy.

I sometimes ask you, Don't you know that!!!!!?

I'll admit that, based on how you seem to acquire information, you may not know it. I suspect this wasn't well reported by Rachel and her ilk.

  6. by Donna on December 1, 2021 9:12 am
What did Biden blame on Gov. DeSantis that he wasn't responsible for?

  7. by HatetheSwamp on December 1, 2021 9:23 am

    Not the point...A-EFFIN-GAIN!

But, considering the fact that Florida now has the lowest number of cases per 100,000...

...contributing to the spread of the virus!!!!!?

  8. by Donna on December 1, 2021 9:28 am
I'm not going to give you a break. You still haven't backed up your accusation. Shit, or get off the toilet.

  9. by HatetheSwamp on December 1, 2021 9:33 am

    Huh

  10. by Donna on December 1, 2021 9:36 am
    LOL! You're such a weasel.

  11. by HatetheSwamp on December 1, 2021 9:48 am

Y'know, it amazes me how much ignorance you claim.

If you're seriously claiming that "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" never focused on and cast blame on DiSantis and Abbott, go ahead. Claim all the ignorance and unawareness you can groove on. It's unbecoming but probably legitimate for progressives who are more interested in feeding their prejudices than seeking truth.

When the former 18 wheeler driver picked on DiSantis and told him, "Get out of the way!"...

Do you really not know this stuff? I even went to CNN for you! Bahahahahahahaha

  12. by Donna on December 1, 2021 9:57 am
What did Biden blame them for? If you don't know, then admit it.

  13. by Donna on December 1, 2021 10:07 am
I looked at the CNN piece. As statistics show, Florida has the 13th highest COVID infection rate. It's very clear (see my new topic thread) that states with the most lax COVID regulations have the country's highest infection rates. So in fact Gov. DeSantis did stand in the way of getting better control of the spread of COVID.

  14. by HatetheSwamp on December 1, 2021 10:09 am

This is getting tedious. Have you been lobotomized?

    Check the date?

The flatulent fool had just issued his vax mandates and DiSantis was probably the most vocal red stater in denouncing and defying it...and, rightly so...as the courts have determined.

This has to be po. Donna can't be so blinded to fact and truth by subjectivity!

  15. by Donna on December 1, 2021 10:16 am
The date is current. You're doing an awful lot of complaining about what I said without actually refuting it.

  18. by HatetheSwamp on December 1, 2021 10:42 am

The thing is, Donna, it's red states that have covid beat. Currently, CA is running three times as many cases as FL. And, FL is wiiiiiiiiiiiiide open and free?

As COVID waves come and go in different areas of the country, case and death rates do also. That's why in order to get the most accurate picture of how states have done, you have to look at all of the data, not just isolated periods. And looking at all of the data, there's an undeniable link between COVID regulations and case and death rates.

  20. by Donna on December 1, 2021 11:10 am
If you didn't think that mask wearing or vaccinations were instrumental in preventing the spread of COVID, then you and your wife wouldn't be as complaint as you've been about wearing masks or getting vaccinated. So your entire argument here is bullshit. You're just arguing for the sake of arguing.

  21. by HatetheSwamp on December 1, 2021 12:01 pm

What y'nes can't seem to get is that to oppose Big Bro mandates is entirely disconnected from personal behavior.

As an American who embraces the freedom of all citizens, I'm absolutely opposed to masks and vaxxes being foisted by the government. But, like many who believe in freedom, we're devoted mask wearers and we're fully vaxxed as you know.

Since you don't hang with people who stand for freedom, you couldn't know how frequently we say that were pro vax but anti mandate.

That's what I see from DeSantis, in particular. He's rather strenuously pro vax. After all, it's the Trump era Operation Warp Speed that produced them. He's just against the fascism that you blues accept so enthusiastically.

  22. by Donna on December 1, 2021 4:20 pm
Completely different issue. Earlier on this thread, it seemed like you were trying to make the case that lax COVID regulations haven't resulted in less per capita cases and deaths, which all data has shown to be mind-boggingly false.

  23. by Curt_Anderson on December 1, 2021 5:07 pm
As with all claims and statements by Republicans, take the COVID reporting coming out of red states with a high degree of skepticism. There is no consistency among the states as to how COVID morbidity and mortality are reported. For that matter, people with Covid are inconsistent from location to location as to whether or not they report that have Covid.

Also in places where hospitals are filled to overcapacity, the Covid victims who don't go the hospital, may not show up in the state statistics.

"...lax covid regulations." That's certainly a fascitst's way of describing the empowering of freedom. Bahahahahahahaha.

More states have GOP governors. It seems to me to be about even in states having Covid deaths.
