The situation with Afghanistan is beyond disgusting," the former United Nations ambassador said. "Look at where we are now, first, the jihadists have a moral victory, that’s for Al-Qaeda and ISIS and Taliban… not just in Afghanistan but in the world. That’s going to allow them to recruit, and allow more lone wolf situations. It will be more dangerous...

Did you [ever] think that NATO was thinking about doing things without the U.S.?" Haley said, warning that "now our allies are having conversations without us."

"The fact that the British and French have gone out of their way to get their citizens out and we're telling our Americans, 'hey, by the way, don't come to the airport,' doesn't bode well for the country on the international stage," she said.

Bingo!

If you think that Trump was worse for America's image in the world than Biden would be, you are now, officially, a fool.

I've been checking out what our European allies are saying about our disastrous and dangerous Afghan strategy. It's U.G.L.Y.!!!!!!

THE BIDEN DOCTRINE

Empowering our enemies and offending our friends.

Thanks to each and every one of you Trumpaphobes for, the probable, permanent, irreparable damage Joe's done to us across the world...

...and YOU empowered that sad, perverted and demented doddering old fart.

Just a thought. If Nikki Haley can convince GOP primary voters that she's solid in international affairs, and is sufficiently hawkish, she may be your next President of these United States.

She'd certainly wipe the floor with Kammy. I'd looooove to see those debates!

I see that you're really loving this. Maybe you'll get lucky and there'll be another suicide bombing.

  3. by HatetheSwamp on August 30, 2021 7:16 am

    I'm not loving it.

What I am, is hoping that you Swampcult Blue MAGAs will see the error of your ways so that you never, ever repeat your 020 act of stupidity because, I believe, the jihadists having been empowered and the West being weakened in that dangerous region of the world, many people will die due to Joe's innocent, demented, incompetence, which your ilk made possible.

Haley is stealing a page from Donald Trump's book. He was continually expressing some opinion prefaced with "people are saying". These supposed people he listened to never had names. Sometimes he'd attribute some opinion of his to "my friend Jim". "Jim" was never to be found.

Of course Trump pretended to be his own spokesperson identifying himself as "John Barron" (or "John Baron"), "John Miller" or "David Dennison".

Now Haley is doing it. "Our allies are having conversations without us," Haley said. Really? Who? Which allies? If they were having theses supposedly critical conversations without us, who tipped you off?

"What I am, is hoping that you Swampcult Blue MAGAs will see the error of your ways so that you never, ever repeat your 020 act of stupidity because, I believe," =pb

I have never in my life ever been exposed to someone as totally and completely ruled and governed by projection as pb is.

Electing Donald Trump as president was the most egregious act of wanton stupidity ever performed by American voters. And since deep down you are and have always been aware of this fact, you must counter it by asserting that whatever Democrat was elected to replace him, it was stupid for people to have voted to do so. Don't even try arguing this. It's like how W was such an ignoramus as president, you and the GOP had to reflexively plaster the very next Democratic president as being stupid also. Dear GOD you looked so stupid yourself trying to do that to Obama.

Thing is, they ARE saying it. Based on what I'm seeing, the Europeans are beside themselves at the way the US has handled this.

They joined us in Afghanistan to support us and Joe's done everything he's done without consulting them or even informing them.

Joe's demented and his advisers are incompetent. I doubt they trust the US until Joe is looooooong gone.

  7. by Curt_Anderson on August 30, 2021 9:09 am
Really? Who is this "they" that you speak of? I recall you posting about a British parliamentarian who was very put out that Biden essentially said that the Afghan army folded in a week.

Are there really any allies that you can cite who are mad that they won't be able to join us in pouring millions (not to mention the lives of their sons and daughters) into Afghanistan any longer?

  8. by HatetheSwamp on August 30, 2021 9:33 am

The day that that MoP sploded, there were many members of parliament expressed similar sentiments.

Didn't Rachel cover this at all!!!!!?

  9. by Donna on August 31, 2021 12:30 pm
Did some research on this, and yes, EU governments are generally pissed off at the US for withdrawing from Afghanistan. The German government is particularly angry. But what they're angry about is seeing all of their billion$ in inve$tment$ there going down the drain.

  10. by HatetheSwamp on September 1, 2021 3:53 am

    Donna,

I think that they are pi$$ed over the wasted money. But, c'mon! From what I'm reading and hearing, they're angry because Joe took his actions without consulting them, even informing them in some cases.

I love how pb always thinks that a few examples of something that supports his contentions, in the face of massive amounts of contradiction, qualifies as representing the thoughts and beliefs of the entirety of the universe in his wantonly subjective mind.
