I just received this from a friend. The guy who sent this is well-read, urbane and thoughtful...and aged enough not to hop on every myth-laced dream that the COVID vaccine is, automatically, a panacea.
The CDC just released this information on August 4th about the Covid vaccines. They now believe the vaccines could be responsible for the Covid variants. In other words, the persons that received the vaccine are somewhat immune, but they could essentially be super spreaders, because of no longer wearing masks, and because the vaccine caused Covid to mutate!
I ran this by my surgeon. He said that he saw the headline, but didn't have time to read the article. But he believes it's very possible. That's when he said he thought it best if I abstained from getting the vaccine.....especially right now.
Depending on the region, and which vaccine you received, vaccinated people are among 1/3 to 1/2 of the new Covid cases. That shouldn't be happening. Something is not right here! Wear your mask until this is past. Nobody should be getting Covid after receiving the vaccine, much less dying, like my Cousin did. Yes he was diabetic, but why is it that we should be content with that happening. You should not die from receiving a vaccine.....diabetic or not! It was extremely rare with previous flu's for that to occur. Much more prevalent now!
Like it or not, there's still much more that we don't know than we know about COVID.
You know the choices I've made and I have no regrets but I'm humble enough to still have doubts.
