A nice little editorial by that gay Guy Curt never heard of who is very conservative, very GOP and fiercely anti-Trump.

    A good piece. Thanks, Bill.

And I was able to finally see who you meant by "that gay Guy Curt never heard of" all this time.

If it's of any note, I have never heard of him either.

But boy! Piece of work that publication he writes for is...

"Editor's Note: Help us continue to tell the truth about the disgusting political persecution of President Trump and fight back against the corrupt Biden DOJ and radical George Soros-backed DAs.

    pi,

The gay Guy is Political Editor of Townhall. He's a big shot over there.

When I say that the gay Guy is very conservative, I ain't spittin nails.

He very conservative. Very GOP. Very bright. And, very, very anti-Trump, though he tries to be journalistic about it.

  3. by Indy! on June 28, 2023 2:25 pm

There IS a "two-tiered justice system" but it's laughable (or disinformation) to pretend it's a red/blue thing. If that were the case, the FBI would be looking into Clarence Thomas and Alito's very public bribery. The two tiers are rich and poor. The only reason Trump is being hassled is because nobody hates him more than the rich - he gives them a bad name and makes them look like buffoons. This is actually a good thing because if by some miracle he's put in the slammer (see photo) - it might also miraculously lead to some of the other wealthy offenders being arrested and forced to face justice (or at least maybe pay their tax bill)

Guy Benson asks this question: "I'll note that CBS has reported the document in question isn't among the items Trump has been charged for unlawfully retaining, so I'd like to see an explanation for that."

The explanation for that is probably that Trump eventually returned that particular document after being asked repeatedly. Trump's show-and-tell probably violates the Espionage Act and/or laws about mishandling classified documents.

  6. by HatetheSwamp on June 28, 2023 2:57 pm

    Indy!,

We don't know if the fibbies are investigating Thomas and Alito.

But, as much as I despise Trump, I think that you're right about the rich hating...and members of the club.

  7. by Indy! on June 28, 2023 4:20 pm
That's actually a better way to characterize it - The Club - like George Carlin used to say. Because they WILL prosecute the wealthy ones they don't like (Trump, Martha Stewart), might expose them (Epstein) and the ones who steal from them (Madoff).

Re: Editor's Note: Help us continue to tell the truth about the disgusting political persecution of President Trump and fight back against the corrupt Biden DOJ and radical George Soros-backed DAs.

There's never been a claim more justified than that Trump is a victim of "disgusting political persecution!"

Understand. The Political Editor of Townhall.com, i.e., that gay Guy Curt never heard of, despises Trump about as much as I do...probably more, actually.

It can be true that Trump is despicable and the the Swamp is despicable-r...and, it IS true. I'm with that gay Guy Curt never heard of. That you can excuse, ignore or pretend away the corruption of the Swamp as far as Trump is concerned effin proves that you have Stage 4 TDS.

That gay Guy and pb have this exactly right. Trump is despicable AND Trump is the victim of disgusting political persecution.

I just applied for a position at a rightwing publication. Think Fox but even more rightwing. Didn't realize it before, but apparently we have a gaggle of them down here.

  13. by Curt_Anderson on June 28, 2023 6:45 pm
    HtS,
Real TDS to believe Trump is a "victim". He has zero concern for national security and for the members of the intelligence community whose lives are at risk because of his recklessness. As if to prove his culpability, Trump has offered contradictory "defenses" tp the public.

If you are still unsure if he is a victim or not, imagine that a Democrat was charged with the same crimes that Jack Smith indicted him for.

See "A Handy Guide to the Republican Definition of a Crime" at link.

Crime: Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server while she was secretary of state.
Not a crime: Donald Trump’s mishandling of government secrets.

"There's never been a claim more justified than that Trump is a victim of 'disgusting political persecution!'" -Hate

There's never been a more disgustingly criminal politician than Donald Trump. EVER. Not even close.

He's committed a cornucopia of felonies, many recorded live for all to hear and see. Even the anti-Trump gay guy blah blah blah admits to the solid evidence of his wrong criminal acts.

When was the American Justice System supposed to go after him for his numerous and obvious crimes? Put it all on hold 'til that despicable orange asshole's 85th birthday?

Far from being persecuted, he's been getting the royal treatment from the Smith team. I can't believe they let him keep his passport. It's unheard of to not take that first thing given this sort of crime. On the trial front, he's been getting special treatment that you can bet your ass Reality Winner never got during her trial for espionage. And that was just one document.

There is no legal reason not to make him pay for his crimes as soon as possible. Once all these crimes and evidence got to the prosecutors, there was no reason not to press forward with charges and trails. Trials. They were actually quite obligated to press forward trying his felonious ass. They would be consciously shirking their sworn constitutional duties to let such a heinous criminal as him get away scot free.

Just because the MAGA Republicans would do something like that without blinking doesn't make it right. They wipe their asses with their sworn constitutional duties at the drop of a red cap.

But this whole discussion is moot.

There is of course no special treatment he could ever get that would placate you devoted MAGA Republicans enough to stop you from believing whatever crap he pours down your gluttonously gullible gullets. Nothing would satisfy you people but letting him get away with every crime he has ever committed, with Jack Smith's apologies for ever having doubted him, delivered on a velvet pillow.

As far as you MAGA Republicans are concerned, he should never have to face trial for anything. Ever. Because he never did anything wrong. Now, in the past, or in the future. I mean, he said himself that he didn't do anything wrong!

And you pig-ignorantly believe, without any idea of how the justice system works in this country mind you, that Biden is pulling all the strings in this show.

You deplorably desperate, dimwitted dunderheads you. You pitifully pathetic, pin-headed propagandists.

"I can't believe they let him [Trump] keep his passport." --Ponderer

I disagree with you, Ponderer. I would be more than happy if Trump were to flee the jurisdiction (the United States). That fat fugitive from justice might flee to Russia or one of the Arab nations. Jack Smith might be thinking the same thing as me.

This Townhall.com publication is wildly conservative but it ain't pro-Trump...as the article by that gay Guy Curt never heard of effin proves.

It's possible to be conservative and anti-Trump and to HatetheSwamp. Many, many do...

    ...and, it's rational

"I disagree with you, Ponderer. I would be more than happy if Trump were to flee the jurisdiction (the United States)." -Curt

That's kinda what I expected he would do before they gave him his passport back. My money is now on him faking his own death.

"And, Trump, as despicable as he is, is a victim." -Hate

That's a truly stupid thing to say, Bill. If he's a victim, it's of his own actions that got him in this position. So in your book, the only way he wouldn't be a victim is if they just let him go?

I know it's a pointless thing to ask, but how exactly do you think the justice department should treat him and all the crimes he's committed and been charged or will be charged with?

  20. by HatetheSwamp on June 29, 2023 7:57 am

You are an inmate in, as OD points out, Gutfeld's, "Prison of Two Ideas."

Trump is despicable. No doubt. But, you'll have to admit that, in spite of your repeated declarations that Trump has been busted, still, he hasn't been.

Since, perhaps, even before you entered your first SS post, I've been making the point that all of us bring our preferences and prejudices to every moment of our lives. You do that more uncompromisingly than anyone I have ever encountered...by an effin looooooooong shot.

How horrible must it be for you that Donald Trump lives rent-free in your head!!!!!

The Swamp is despicable-r than Trump...but, then the Swamp lives rent-free in your head, too.

Nothing to tell, peebs. LinkedIn sends me graphic arts job openings all the time (seriously - 4 or 5 a day is not uncommon). I toss them my resume every now and then if the skills required are a match, but no one ever responds. One of my twitter friends explained that all these companies are required to at least pretend like they're hiring to justify the cash they got from Biden's covid bill (I forget which program it is exactly). I sent out maybe 10 resumes the last two years and so far one company emailed back saying they received my resume. But I figure maybe somebody might toss me some freelance work or something one day.
