    That's what I was telling Indy a few days ago. But they chose to fight the battle. kinda like custer did....

    The one thing it did do was to show disney's true stripes. Most of the people I know aren't buying any of the DVDs etc. Which is kind of too bad. There were some great flicks.

    I know how you wingdings like to pretend the world revolves around you, but sorry - not happening on this one. Disney stock (like the entire stock market) fell with everything else during covid. It's been on a rollercoaster almost identical to the market. I own some of their stock myself. And long term? Forget it, guys - they're not going anywhere. They own too money guaranteed cash cows... Star Wars (Lucasfilm), Marvel, 20th Century, Searchlight, Touchstone, Pixar, the Muppets, A&E, FX, Lifetime, Nat Geo, ESPN and the History channels, Buena Vista along with all the Disney branded stuff. If you think they're going anywhere - you're nuts. BTW, Disney's international assets include... you guessed it... Fox Networks Group. And that's only skimming the surface.     Sorry, the numbers given were since the bullshit with diSantes. So you're wrong again (still).

    And I actually used someone that understood the stock market. Wiki only relates in historical "thoughts."

    The "bullshit with DeSantis" dovetails with the market dip due to covid, OD. I sold my Disney stock before covid hit hard and then bought back in at the dip. I follow it every day - it virtually mirrors the market. Disney World is only a small part of the Disney empire - they're all over the world and own all the biggest movie franchises now. The stuff you guys are "boycotting" is going gangbusters (see link below).

    The information retweeted by the leading influencer in the American anti-TQ LGB movement is all factual. It's, admittedly, a snapshot of this moment in time. But, it's fact for now.

    I chose to post it here because, from time to time, during your absence, Curt has created a number of threads suggesting that the DeSantis Disney thing has been a debacle for DeSantis and that Disney is doing just fine. GAG founder, Jaimee Michell, points out that Curt is, as po'd say, effin wrong.

    Agree to disagree, peebs. DeSantis is a non-issue for Disney. They’ll beat him like a redheaded stepchild in court and all the Reds pretending to boycott Disney will quit pretending by next year. Same with the Bud drinkers. OD probably already has a refrigerator full of Bud Light.

    I will say that, living, as I do, in a place where people take trips to Disney World and nannas and pappaps take grandkids to movies, DeSantis’s preaching is being listened to.

    Take a look at the list of Disney properties on wiki, peebs. I guarantee your nannas and pappas don't know Disney owns 90% of those. And how are they going to skip those movies when every kid in school has gone to see Elementals or the latest Marvel adventure and nanna's grandson is the only one who hasn't and won't stop bugging pappa about it? You honestly believe they'll be telling those kids "we can't go because Pixar and Marvel are owned by Disney and Disney is woke?" Please. You're living a in a Fox fairytale with OD. 😂
