“We want to be crystal clear – Starbucks has been and will continue to be at the forefront of supporting the LGBTQIA2+ community, and we will not waver in that commitment!” Starbucks CEO Laxman Narasimhan and Executive Vice President and President for North America Sara Trilling said in a statement Friday.
A counter-backlash, eh? Pride Month has turned into a war zone. I'd said it'd be a doozy, but, sheeeeeeeeeeeesh! This is really sumpthin.
Honestly, "LGBTQIA2+"? I just want two questions answered:
1. Without looking it up? Does anyone know what LGBTQIA2+ stands for?
2. When will the tacking on end. I'm actually old enough to remember the ol LGB days. Baha. (I'm just guessing that the "2" doesn't stand for the number of genders.)
And, to all you LGBTQIA2+ members. You should know that when the anti-TQ LGBs laugh at you...and they do... when they don't want to maim you...they call you "the alphabet people." Good'ne, eh?, baha. A real kneeslapper.
