And, that was before Joe warned about those "dogfaced lyin pony soldiers" and, then, seconds later, prayed for God's blessing on the Queen.

Former President Trump leads President Biden by six points in a 2024 presidential race hypothetical matchup in a new survey shared Friday with The Hill from Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll.

The poll found that 45 percent of respondents said they would vote for Trump if the 2024 election were held today between the former president and Biden, while 39 percent said they’d support Biden. A separate 15 percent said they were unsure or did not know.

“The indictment of former [President Trump] has [had] no impact on his lead against [Joe] Biden whose job rating remains at 43 percent,” explained Mark Penn, the co-director of the Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll.

The Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll was conducted between June 14 and June 15 with 2,090 respondents surveyed. It is a collaboration of the Center for American Political Studies at Harvard University and the Harris Poll.

Mark Penn was big into the Clintons back in the day.

Curt's unflagging support notwithstanding, Joe's trips and gaffes are, to quote Jeremiah Wright, "coming home to roost."

Can you imagine Joe's brain in five and a half years at the end of his next term. Oy, as po'd say, effin, vey! That, I imagine, is what America is thinking.

It's kinda funny that the Democrats think 2024 is going to be some kind of repeat of 2020 where Biden got a free ride to the White House. He wasn't even a solid 4th place candidate until Obama and Clyburn stabbed the left in the back before South Carolina. Then covid (and Bernie's weak knees) killed off what was left of Sander's chances. There is simply no way to recreate that dynamic. The left will not be giving Biden their vote simply because he has the D next to his name this time around. Biden now has to stand on his actual record and unless you're like Curt - nice and comfy in retirement and willing to be satisfied with the fictional "accomplishments" dreamed up by Biden's PR team - you're not happy with his term. There is an anger and vitriol on the left regarding Biden, Harris, Buttigieg and the Democratic party in general - which this board obviously has not experienced online or in real life. Barring an actual "election theft" - Biden is toast in 2024.
