Finally. A reasonable approach.

NOGALES, AZ — In a last-ditch effort to stem the tide of illegal migrants crossing the border, locals in Arizona and Texas have resorted to hanging Bud Light signs all over the wall in hopes of scaring away would-be crossers.

"Bud Light? ¡No bueno!" said one man from Ecuador upon seeing the signs. "I go home now."

South of the Texas border, patrol units have also been handing out cases of Bud Light to bands of crossers, forcing them to flee in terror and take their chances out in the desert.

Officials are hoping for the crowds to be fully disbursed by the time Title 42 ends tomorrow.

Is this what passes for humor in your community?

BTW, I had seen stories that Costco had slashed prices on Bud Lite since it supposedly wasn't selling. I was hoping to get a case for Memorial Day so if people overstayed their welcome, I could transition from the good stuff to the "closing time" stuff.

But, the price was pretty much the same as all the other crappy domestic beer at Costco. I guess the reports of Bud Lite's demise has been slightly exaggerated.

I thought Yueling was appropriate, Although my favourite advertisement is "the empty chair, by Guiness.

So first, I don't drink beer. My last purchase was $360 for three bottles of bourbon. I also have a 97 bottle in my wine cooler. It's filled with 10+ year old medaled wine.

My humour comes from the Brits, which I've been stationed with several times. My shares of friends are all other operators where we can kick back and just talk without bullshit and "gentile"/ "delicate" "men." Therefore, I can't really use my humour, as tacky Americans can't understand it even in verbal form. (I won't try in written, just because too much is lost in that on both sides).

If I do drink beers, my preference is Murphy's stout (not the lacky Guiness crap) and porters (St Brigid's is wonderful). And absolutely NO b&T/ ciders.

Bud Light sales have dwindled and its stock has been downgraded in a continuing fallout since the popular beer ran a promotion with transgender influencer Dylan Mulveney last month.

Parent company Anheuser-Busch InBev (ABI) sold $71.5 million worth of Bud Light in the week ending April 29, a 23% drop compared to a year ago, according to data from Bump Williams Consulting. Budweiser sales have hit $31.5 million so far this year, down roughly 11%, the firm said. Sales of other Anheuser-Busch brands — including Budweiser, Michelob Ultra, Busch Light and Natural Light — have also taken a hit.
