The House voted overwhelmingly to pass a resolution Tuesday to create a select committee focused on U.S. competition with China, fulfilling a campaign promise Republicans made in the lead-up to the 2022 midterm elections.
The resolution passed in a 365-65 vote, with 146 Democrats joining Republicans in supporting the measure. All “no” votes came from Democrats.

I'd love to know what those 65 were thinking.
pb thinks that what the Freedom Caucus fought for is a good thing for our "of the people, by the people and for the people" country. Will this Congress be all sweetness and light? No. There's a lot of evil in the party that finagled "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" on an innocent nation. But pb predicts that the atmosphere inside the Capitol will be more relaxed than at any time that California Fascist ran the House with an iron fist...
...no doubt, much to the chagrin of po and isle and their ilk.
