Recently, Donna suggested that it's increasingly unsafe for transgender people. No doubt, there are struggles on both sides.

I'm linking to a powerful discussion between Tulsi and organic female swimmer, Riley Gaines. They discuss science, hate, abuse and threats from the LGBT community and the oppression of organic females by all of wokedom and what it means to promote the rights of women, i.e., XX chromosome people.

The truth is that there are problems on both sides: organic and, what?, manufactured women, but, to hear it from this perspective, the conflict is being pushed on organic women by the woke and trans communities.

pb has to say, agree or disagree, Tulsi is bright and articulate and as effective a mouthpiece for the anti-woke counter-culture as there is.

Well done, babes!

FYI, it's a lengthy video. You don't have to watch the whole thing to get the point.

How many straight people have been murdered by LGBTQ people because of their gender identity or preference?

  2. by HatetheSwamp on November 29, 2022 7:38 am

How many straight people, already a fry short of a Happy Meal, have been pushed over the edge by the unyielding sanctimony of woke fascism.

pb did say that there are issues on both sides. Did you watch far enough into the video to hear the vile hate speech Riley has received from trans people and transphiles? Do you support them? Did you WRITE them?

  3. by Donna on November 29, 2022 7:44 am

Again, the murders. You're drawing an obvious false equivalency.

  4. by HatetheSwamp on November 29, 2022 7:51 am

What's the fallacy, as you understand it? Is this po using Donna's account? (The "fallacy" thing is very po-ish.)

Anyway, what do you suppose the fallacy to be?

  5. by Donna on November 29, 2022 7:54 am

Bye. Not wasting anymore time here.

  6. by HatetheSwamp on November 29, 2022 7:59 am

    Ahhhhhhhhhhh. The sanctimony.

And, that's Tulsi's point. And, why what concerns you about the dangers facing the "trans" community will only increase.

  7. by Donna on November 29, 2022 8:14 am

Recently I posted this on a FB friend's wall. It was in response to the opinion of many in the LGBTQ community that we need to expose children to LGBTQ people:
I didn't know an out LGBTQ person until 8th grade. That was in 1969, though.

Nowadays there's no need to expose children to LGBTQ people because we're MUCH more out than even a decade ago and we're EVERYWHERE. We weren't even allowed to be out back in the day.

It shouldn't be a shocker to anyone that there are a lot of people who falsely see concerted efforts to expose children to LGBTQ people as "grooming". Yes they're stupid. Yes they're assholes. But some of them have AR-15s. And now we have even wider bullseyes on our backs.

Perhaps we should be practicing better perception management and choose our battles more wisely.

    ***

Got it? I've expressed similar sentiments on this forum.

But to cast the dangers LGBTQ people face daily as one of the struggles that's on both sides struck me as minimizing the real life dangers we face every day from militant straights.

    Whoa! I'm not doing that!

But, if watched a fair chunk of the video, you know the sort of ignorant hate Gaines faces simply because she's a female athlete who wants to compete as a female athlete. So, to suggest that the unprovoked hate she faces EVERY DAY isn't an issue, strikes me as minimizing the fact that there are flawed human beings on both sides of this problem.

BTW, how many trans people have been murdered by straight people? We know that, recently, a they unloaded on a club full of LGBT people.

  9. by Donna on November 29, 2022 2:12 pm

I asked you how many LGBTQ people have been killed by straight people because of their sexual identity or preference.

At the Pulse, an LGBTQ club in Florida a couple of years ago, a gunman murdered 49 people and wounded another 53. Of course physically attacking or murdering LGBTQ people because of their sexual identity or preference has been going on for time immemorial.

Why are you even debating this? Are you that hard up for an argument?

  10. by HatetheSwamp on November 29, 2022 2:40 pm

I'm debating it because it's a non sequitur. You seem to be arguing that LGBTers can be as hateful and oppressive as they d@mn well please because of homophobic hate crimes. There's no justifying hate...even yours!

Getting back to the original post and title.

Lead, If you read my posts on CRT, this is a large part of the movement. The idea is to separate people and to claim everyone is a racist that doesn't believe in their "theory."

What I think is hard for you and me, is that we grew up in the MLK Jr era of looking at people "not by the colour of their skin, but by the content of their character." Now, we're being told that a racist idea. After years of looking at the character of those I served with and knew, I guess I'm just a racist. Looking at the content of someone's character hasn't failed me yet.

Of course what you said was not at all my point. I'm pointing out that anti-LGBTQ hatred sometimes results in mass murder of LGBTQ people, and that the reverse never happens, so for us it's waaaaaay more than a "struggle" - it's life and death.
