I don't know about "hundreds", but yeah.

Btw, among the five fatalities are two transpeople that we know of. It's getting increasingly dangerous to be LGBTQ in America.

    Do you mean that you are personally aware of them?

    I think that you may not be aware of how much homophobia raged in the past. My sense is that being LGBT is far more mainstream than it has ever been.

    There probably are not more violence-prone homophobes and transphobes now than in the past. But the LGBTQ community is more out there and out of the shadows. I suspect that Colorado Springs didn't have a gay bar prior to Stonewall. There certainly were not same-sex marriages.

    BTW, Herschel Walker is running an ad which accuses Warnock of voting to allow trans athletes to compete on female sports teams. I am sure that's a lie. I don't recall any congressional vote allowing or forbidding transgender athletes.

    Of course being from Southern Colorado, I'm pretty familiar with C Springs. I didn't know of the club. The two folks who took down the gunman are heros. It is as simple as that to me. They were not called on, they just went to the shthead shooter and did a very dangerous thing. And yes, apparently this was an extremely popular bar in the area (from what I heard). A tip of the hat to them! And thank you for putting others before yourselves.

    It was also sad it was that bar/night club. This should have been a great night for everyone. My heart breaks for the families and friends of the murdered and wounded.

    I think almost everyone would agree with your sentiments.

    If Aldrich had been limited to his pistol, though, some of those people he killed would still be alive. Also,
