You think of the high drama canned documentary format of the J6 Committee to be a good thing? Really?
pb expects honest to goodness legitimate congressional hearings in which the minority party and its concerns are represented fairly, no TV shows produced by a former CBS executive.
Based on the reporting from the New York Post and, based on Tony Bobulinski's interviews with Tucker Carlson, there's a ton of there there.
Bottom lining it, my guess is that "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" will escape impeachment because Hunter will take one for dad and, even though there's a mountain of circumstantial evidence against the Former Trucker, back in the day when his mind still worked, he was able to create plausible deniability for his own protection. He'll float like a butterfly.
For the sake of the Republic, what pb wants is the airing of the testimony of the DOJ and FBI whistle-blowers who are chomping at the bit to expose the abuse and corruption of those two institutions that have been weaponized by the Swamp.

Now that you say it, it really does seem like the Blue Swamp may really prefer the fascism reflected in the J6 farce over "the government the Founders had in mind."
I say "may."
I don't think that they despise our constitutional republic. What I think is that they've lost their minds because they hate Trump so much...which is what we've been saying all along. They have TDS.
The scary thing is that Curt and isle and Donna have been willing to set the best of our republican principles aside in order to punish Trump. That's shortsighted mobbishness...extremely foolhardy.
Now, Curt seems to think that legitimate congressional hearings, based in due process and the traditions of the republic are, somehow, lacking compared to the Stalinism of the Show Trial.
Their hearings won't have the impact of the dramatic flair of the January 6th Committee hearings.
