These are not my original thoughts but they capture my sentiments.

1. So, let me get this straight: Hillary's recipe emails were a "lock her up" criminal activity, but the Secret Service deleting texts during a violent insurrection is no big deal? --Seen on Twitter.

The Inspector General said the Secret Service deleted the texts after he requested them. The Secret Service said it is was a scheduled update of text messages.

2. Glenn Kirschner a former U.S. Army prosecutor and NBC News/MSNBC legal analyst likened the deletions of January 6th texts by the Secret Service to a murder scene in which the housecleaner is allowed to come in and scrub the place down before the police have chance to check for fingerprints and other clues because it was her scheduled cleaning day.

Anybody who has ever watched a TV crime drama knows that you should never tamper with or remove pertinent evidence while there is an ongoing investigation.

I remain convinced that the texts would have exonerated Trump.

    The Swamp is total slime.

Really?! You're convinced that the deleted texts would exonerate Trump?

In your wildest fantasies, I'd like to know what sort of text exchange you can imagine that exonerates Trump.

    Let me try one:
Agent 86 here. President Trump wants to singlehandedly stop the rioters before they ransack the Capitol.

This is Agent 99. Trump is a true American hero but it's much too dangerous. Take him back to the West Wing no matter how much he lunges for the steering wheel of the SUV.

    Curt,

The texts have been deleted. You and I can only guess their content.

You appear to be aiming for that brand of hyper-omniscience that, heretofore, only po's claimed! You are definitely aiming high!

So welcome to Hillary deleting texts WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION or KNOWLEDGE of the State Department in an ILLEGAL UNSECURED Server. (FYSA, USDOS owns all computer equipment by their technology procedures. Hillary had an illegal server for work, unlawfully received CLASSIFIED MATERIAL on her UNCLASSIFIED PHONE. This actually takes someone to retype or scan the emails in to the unclassified server, since it is illegal for the two to be connected in to the same system.

Before you say "but Trump did......" Hillary ADMITTED to this whole thing in the congressional inquiry.

But you guess that they exonerate Trump.

You probably thought that Rose Mary Woods' 18 minute gap in the White House audio tape would have cleared Richard Nixon's name.

Like I said before, but in your psychosis you may have forgotten. Each Agency has an "oversight" group that works for them to keep them within the law and their procedures. I know you "want" everything to be open sourced information, but that's not going to happen. That's what bothers you about me citing the legal aspect of issues. While you create scenarios from what you "think" "should" happen, I actually live in the real world. The President (yes, even pedojoe) has a right to speak with people without that being recorded. It doesn't matter what I think about it, or what I "want" or "think ought to be" at all.

    OD,
I wasn't imagining that the Trump was texting with Secret Service agents. The text communications of the Secret Service on and around January 6th would help to flesh out the timeline of events and would help to determine their movements.

    Curt-
We're in agreement there. Sorry, it was worded poorly. My point was that as a different agency, even the President has communications that are not recorded. Every agency does. Without any other reason, if an agency's oversight says to do it, they are 1. within the law and 2. within the boundaries of what has to be kept. The normal train of thought is the agency keeps as little as it legally has to.

Your TDS is showing. The autopsy reviled there was no foul play involved. I understand that "everything" is "possible." Cows and pigs can fly. A new mother can pee alone, and unicorns will come save us.It's when you refuse to look at facts the world becomes the "Neverending Story."
