Compressive or encapsulated? Activity? Size? There’s more to consider than size. Compression flattens the chest minimizing movement. Encapsulating has separate cups compressing the breasts individually. As a general rule, encapsulating bras offer more support. The type of activity in which you plan to engage has a heavy impact on the bra you should choose. The more vertical or quick movement, the more support needed. Does the bra suit your needs?
YES
Try it on. Does it fit?
YES
Is it a comfortable fit? No slipping, no spilling, no riding. You can get it on without a small army of men to help you fasten it?
YES
Is it going the distance? Get picky. Is it smooth enough that it won't irritate you over time? Are the materials, straps, shape and fasteners all agreeable with your skin? You've only had it on for a few minutes so really pay attention. What's small now will be unbearable later. You're a princess! You deserve the best.
YES
Super! Now jump up and down, twist around, bend over and make the dressing room attendant wonder if you are alone in there. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP! A sports bra that sits pretty when you're not moving is no good to you. If the sports bra stays in place, supports the ladies and feels comfortable then this is the one! Buy yourself a new lipgloss on your way out. You deserve it!

Back to the sports bra rack to think about what you've done. Do not pass the register and do not collect a new lipgloss!
Too tight, too loose, strap rides up on your back, spillage from cups either over, under or sideways-DEAD END! Start over with a new selection. Don't worry, it's not you it's the bra.
You can either start over with your selection, have a seamstress alter it or hire a small army of men to help you fasten it. We don't want to tell you what to do but starting over might be the best choice.
Don't compromise! Your lingerie drawer does not need another bra! Don't be afraid to start over with the selection process. Pay attention to what doesn't work and you will find your dream bra.
