Further, it came to my attention that, undisclosed to the public, WTTG FOX 5 Segment Producer Annie Yu is an ambassador cheerleader for the Redskins, as is Desiree Jennings, and they are friends, which might explain FOX's decision to broadcast this story without much critical analysis or regard to public health ramifications.
    --Lorie Anderson

When you walk onto a locked psych facility with no experience, the one feeling that comes across quite clearly is fear. Just during my orientation process alone, I was told stories of a patient tearing doors off a closet to throw at her roommate - or ripping a piece of metal off an air conditioning vent to slice an artery and bleed all over the staff as they tried to save her from dying of blood loss.
    --Kupo

One of my pet peeves is labeling,I can't help it, it's like a huge government conspiracy to turn the nation into a herd of sheep. Think about it, is it really necessary to put a label on a toaster to say do not immerse in water? Surely people who think it OK to make toast in the bath deserve to reap the consequences.
    --Flounder

Families have been described, by many, as the basic building blocks of humanity. It is for this reason that the study of the family unit is crucial. Understanding the family unit, as well as how it is affected by other aspects in our society, can help individuals make lifestyle choices to help the world that we live in. It is people that are rigid in their beliefs, such as fundamentalists, that make this a difficult task.
    --Gary Allen

However, without free-will, it completely destroys our juridical system; that people are responsible for their own actions and should be punished rightfully, in context. But if the universe is determined, how can one be responsible for their actions? They should not be punished for something they cannot control.

Just before losing the shell, like a snake often does with lot of trouble, he was sitting on a chair in the morning with the big black dining table in front of him. On the dining table there was food. Although what the food had he hardly noticed. He was thinking, listening to something and smelling something.

At first she used to treat you like a young man which you are but then you began to listen to her.. she became affectionate toward you and said that she loved you? That's not much of a story. What really happened? No matter how patient and mature you are why would she fall in love with you and be actually serious about it?
    --Easel

You would never expect a horse to eat steak would you? or a tiger to eat salad? I am of the opinion that species appropriate diets are so very important, ESPECIALLY for captive animals (aka pets) AND humans alike. Let's take the instance of Dogs: most "scientific" foods are based heavily on grains and artificial colorings, flavorings and vitamin/mineral mixes. Sometimes there is less than 15% meat in these dry foods. Dogs these days are in trouble.

Although we don't want to admit it, we do require guidance as teens. While we try to figure out where we belong and what should our style be, we come up labels such as 'cool', 'geek', 'goth', 'bimbo', etc.
    --Innocently_Weird

This is why nationalism must be torn down. In a world where people of all nationalities can integrate with each other, in this second scenario, it will not matter if one area becomes flooded; anyone will be able to travel anywhere. No tension, no racism and no culture superiority.
    --Tom_Randall

The here and now means the present moment. It is not the past and it is not the future. It is only the moment and the moment is all there is. We all experience our moments at the same time but because of the unique way each of us filter reality and process information, each moment is a completely separate incident to everyone else’s. This is good, this means that you control your moment.
    --Blackcrow

I have CDO. It's like OCD, but all of the letters are in alphabetical order...like they should be.

Fresh off a 10-year sentence in US Federal Prison for mail fraud, Carlos Hill employed the time honored strategy of an operator – tell the people what they want to hear. Irrational stock euphoria ran as high in Jamaica in the 1990s as it did in many other parts of the world. Wild stories about individual investors converting thousands into millions became standard mythological fare.
    --Billy Wharton

Climate change is a cycle, and we can keep up with it, even if we quicken it up. But too many people are either too ignorant, or completely ignore it as so they do not want to change their extravagant lifestyles, to see the future. The most frustrating thing is, the action is too slow and not progressing anywhere near fast enough to what we need to reach.
    --Tom_Randall

The Cash For Clunkers program is misunderstood by many people because of the negative spin that many media outlets and pundits are spewing. Here are five Myths.
    --Joe D.

I have a concern. Since the majority of our community (the GLBT community)views labels as a negative thing how is a lesbian who is new to the community going to be able to identify her own sexuality? Are we suppose to just stumble around getting into relationships only to find out too late that this isn't exactly what we want?
