Talking about the guy you quoted, Jun - Maddox. You can always tell when a PC user is talking about Jobs... the anger, the hatred, the inferiority complex - all of it comes to the surface. That guy is an asshole if he doesn't think Jobs changed his world. Jobs changed EVERYBODY'S world - Mac users and PC users alike. The only difference is Apple users aren't angry about having better products at their disposal. The hardcore PC users - OTOH - are still pissed that Apple never went under and instead hung around long enough to make Bill Gates and Microsoft inconsequential to the industry and society in general. That guy DOES owe a debt of gratitude to Jobs - the only question is will he be humble enough to recognize and admit it or will he continue to be the asshole he is and let his hatred for Jobs and Apple continue to rot his soul.

Not hating here. Actually I really like Apple's products and I think Jobs was brilliant in a lot of ways. But he was sort of an arsehole. You know it's true.
Both those comments are totally off base. Apple employees are treated very well - nothing like wingnuts like to treat workers. And I don't believe Jobs was an asshole by any stretch of the imagination. Again - if you have some proof for your accusations, by all means - post it. If not, all you're doing is offering your opinion and one thing I DO know to be true is opinions are like assholes - everybody has one. We obviously have two different opinions of Jobs - mine being the one closest to reality.
What's up with the recent spate of suicides in the iPhone sweatshops then? Don't they realise how good they have it? I thought Asians were supposed to be smart!
I was a Win user till last month, then migrated to Macbook Pro. It's like divorcing an old exasperating hubby and marrying a sexy new stranger. Incompatibility issues! Missing all my Win keyboard shortcuts. If forced, I can learn it. But being lazy, am gonna exchange my brand new Mac with my daughter's Windows laptop.
I certainly do not blame Apple for this. I take full responsibility for my own laziness in not making the effort to work with my sexy stranger, and taking the easy way out by going back to old Windows.

Half my church have iPads now. Takes the fun out of trying to be the first to find a verse, since they can get any verse with just a few taps. I live in fear of finding out how indispensable they are.
