What TV shows are worth watching on DVD

What TV shows are worth watching on DVD

To answer the question with the simplest answer:
1-ones you will not see play anymore.
2-ones that have great special features.

I have many TV shows on DVD.

Most recently, I got the old BBC show Iclaudius. I am glad I waited for a later edition,
as more features were added.

Of course I have ANGEL on DVD, that was actually the 1st DVD I got.

My favorite show Hercules: TLJ. Not that the features were great, but since Universal
refuses to let it be aired any more, I am glad I have it on DVD. (Ironically, they gave Xena
incredible special features. But I boycotted cause of what they did with Herc DVDs.
May Universal & Studios USA rot in Hell.)

I do not yet have Highlander the series, but I plan on it. As it is not being aired now,
and the features are awesome.

I bought the 1st season of Quantum Leap, but boycotted the rest. There seemed to be
no special features & songs were changed (to save a few pennies).

Of. course, there is always something to be said about individual taste.

The legendary British cult sci-fi classic UFO is worth owning on DVD and - of course - the greatest television series in the history of mankind bar none... drum roll please... the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica.

Oh, yes, I also forgot a mini-series called Merlin.

This was an awesome portrayal of the wizard (starring Sam Neil).

Slyfly used to air it when they were cool.

The only problem with the DVD is they edited the episodes into a movie format (that
seems to be a fad with releasing mini series on DVD now). Thus I wish I had thought
to tape it one of the times it was aired.

By re-imagined-BSG do you mean the modern version they did several years ago,
as opposed to the original?

I never got into BSG, but I can see the appeal.

I like Star Trek, Stargate SG1. I even liked watching the old Dr. Who when I was young.

Game of Thrones! I haven't gotten the last season yet.
Oh and I almost forgot Firefly! Another one of my favorites.

Oh, yes, game Of Thrones is good.

Too bad HBO doesn't spend more time airing their own shows like GOT & Rome.

Highlander 6 was like the good, the bad, & the ugly.

America is plagued with an epidemic
of the Dunning-Kruger Effect.
D-K affects nearly every family.

You have to know, the real Dunning-Kruger
effects fake liberals to make them
think that they know everything.
No matter how many facts you
show them, they don't learn or accept.

Too many people are brainwashed into
believing their political party is benevolent.
While both are deep state knights & pawns.

We need outsiders like Donald Trump.

Do not confuse the Dunning-Kruger Effect
with the Dumb-Krueger Effect, started by
pseudo-psychologist to attack MAGAites.

The cure for Dumb-Krueger is knowlege!
May the facts be with you.
