I'm curious now, how do you guys convert Celsius or Centigrade to Fahrenheit?

Take a Celsius temperature and mulitply times 1.8 and add 32.

100C X 1.8 + 32 = 212F
0C X 1.8 + 32 = 32F

and everything in between and beyond.

8th grade science.

And the equation comes out just like you wrote it:...0C X 1.8 + 32 = 32F

0C = 32F

Sorry, isle. I started it. I was lampooning pb's seemingly contradictory assertions that subjectivity is truth and truth is not subjective.

Actually, since temperature is rarely if ever reported in Celsius here without also being reported in Fahrenheit, having to convert them is not much of an issue. It's all pretty much Farenheit here unless you get into technical areas. At the sign shop, maybe once a year am I given dimensions by a customer that are metric for example.

Go to Google. Type 0 celsius in fahrenheit. Hit enter.

But, it's not only the one true temperature, it is truth itself.

But I thought subjectivity was truth. Are you asserting that 0C is subjective?

0C is subjectivity.

When you mix truth with subjectivity...truth can become anything you want!

Kierkegaard understood this and it helped to make him more secure in his beliefs !
