Anyone care to discuss their religion

Anyone care to discuss their religion

I'm multi-faith.

I follow the Tao, revere the Buddha, & praise Odin.

One can call me a Wiccan, my last major conversion,
but that doesn't mean I abandoned anything I believed before.

It is inclusive, not exclusive. Wiccans can even be Christian (or something),
even though many of us see it as weird.

The Devine's nature has 2 aspects, like a yin & yang.
A male & female, light & dark.

So likewise, I also praise Quan Yin the feminine side for compassion,
as with the masculine warrior of courage, odin.

The Tao is way fro anything with sense or a philosophic sense.

And Buddha is the greatest man ever. He is on par with Jesus,
and actually better. For he was not half-god.

Still, I will read, study, & learn more..........................................

Like your politics, you believe in nothing - but still try to cover all the bases.

Not true, I reject many religions.
I only accept those that have a value to humanity & being humane.

You are the one who believes in nothing but trolling & lying!

Ahhh... another confused humanist. I see why you would need so many "gods" to cover your bases - makes it easier to confuse people who are bothering to listen to you expound on religion.

BTW - If there were a god, it would have outlived it's purpose since the universe has already been created. Ergo that god would no longer be necessary and therefore - by extension - be nothing.

I don't need any of it. I only want to learn all I can.

Unlike others who know nothing, or assume one thing is everything.
One way is not the only way or the absolute of the way.

"The way that can be spoken is not the true way."
-Translation of Tao Te Ching

As far as god being uselss after creating the universe,
you are half right.

After the universe is created, god becomes us & the universe.
If it ceases to exist - so do we.

I started going to services recently. There is a Buddhist temple of the Mahayana branch that I enjoy. They have good sermons. But I prefer the Unitarian Universalist church because of their emphasis on charity and social issues. They don't talk about god but they talk about love and community. I am atheist.

We all should have love & community.
Atheist or not.
