Safe and stable are not the best ways to get a good return on your dollar.

I may have mentioned this before but the survivalists are wrong about hiding away and fending off the masses with handguns. Cooperation will be essential for survival in a real economic collapse (as unlikely as that really is).

gold just locks in the present value purchasing power. no gain or loss should be expected. it's a very conservative investment.
