This isn't complicated. 2020 is a referendum on Trump.

The job of the Biden campaign is simple, and Trump is helping.

Meagain,
Joe Biden and Trump with their respective political parties both raised more than $60 million in donations in April. Biden has done well with minimal fundraising. Biden managed to win the nomination even though he was outspent by other Dems who raised a lot more money than he did.

Except he didn't actually "win". For one thing, he's the PRESUMPTIVE nominee - NOT the nominee. He doesn't have enough delegates yet. Secondly, Obama and the DNC engineered his "win" thru backroom deals. Of course he didn't have to spend much - because he didn't have to campaign AT ALL if we're being honest here. Biden won't be able to do that in the general. Nor will the DNC be able to manipulate the voting process as they've been doing in the primaries.

So far as his... ahem... "campaign" - he's all over the board searching for answers. Yesterday he came out with his latest schtick - that's he now wants to be a transformative president like FDR. It's comical that he thinks anyone would believe that and shows just how out of touch with reality he is. He's the exact opposite of a transformative candidate - he wants a return to 2012 and everything he's done proves it... EVERYTHING. He's even talking to that POS Rahm Emanuel about a spot in his never-going-to-happen presidency.

Biden has outlined a very specific and progressive agenda: one that he will have trouble getting through any Senate. He will, though, make more progress than Sanders could have done o, for that matter, Warren. hat would be transformative.

Post it. He's talking about the same old sh*t. And before you get ahead of yourself, Obama was acting FAR more "transformative" than Biden when he ran too. His entire campaign was built around "CHANGE" and what did he do? Continued the same exact course we were already on except for a meager stimulus package that mainly helped the wealthy which would have come anyway no matter who was president. Why are you people - who are supposedly "informed voters" - buying any of this sh*t we've seen every election our entire lives? Biden works for Wall Street and the banks. Just like Trump, Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush and Reagan. Same sh*t - different day.

I did post it in another thread. A very detailed agenda that would bring the USA as close to civilisation as is possible in a Plutocratic society.

Then source the thread. He has absolutely ZERO progressive policies in his platform - NONE. He said straight up "no fundamental change" as well as the fact he would veto medicare for all if it passed. I think you're confusing Biden with Bernie.

Biden's programme does include Medicare for all. He includes a public option, though. As for sourcing the thread, I rather think it is for you to prove that there is not a progressive agenda in Biden's campaign rather than making wild accusations. There are many sources and, before claiming that there are not, the onus is on you to look at them. The one I posted was straight from Wiki.

Don't hold your breath in expecting Meagain to source his own claims. The concept of burden of proof being on the one making the claims is totally foreign to him.

I missed the platform that you posted in another post, could you repost it?

Biden's platform was not progressive after 8 years of being VP. To expect it to become progressive now is absurd and most campaign platforms are discarded the minute a candidate gets elected these days.

I'm actually waiting for a platform for this round, hoping it WILL be bernbro lite. He's starting to pander, so we'll see how that goes. He's already pandered to the anti 2A crowd, so he just lost the southeast dems.

Whatever he does to make his platform look palatable it is not how he will actually govern the country. When was the last time a platform was actually adhered to once a politician was elected?

Kairos is back sticking his lengthening nose on.

However, old deadhead, here is a whole page of them so you can pick the one you like. It was a very time consuming task since I had to type two words into search. But nothing is too much trouble to prevent you having to write cite.

And where is the progressivism?

His 8 years of VP show clearly that he was not a progressive. His platform is just that another meaningless political platform to get elected.
