This isn't complicated. 2020 is a referendum on Trump.

The job of the Biden campaign is simple, and Trump is helping.

A good rebuttal of the documentary. There are others that do a more thorough job but this is easier reading.

"But this is by no means the worst of it. The film offers only one concrete solution to our predicament: the most toxic of all possible answers. “We really have got to start dealing with the issue of population … without seeing some sort of major die-off in population, there’s no turning back.”

Its toxic to state the most glaringly obvious fact that's been clear as day well before Ehrlich and even Malthus back to Plato and to the Mesopotamian Epic of Gilgamesh?

It would pay you to look at context instead of extracting little snippets that you think pander to your obsessive ignorance.

I read the whole article and took the context into account.

Your obsessive ignorance is that you don't realize that over population coupled to your favourite model of never ending economic growth is the root reason why there are such vast ranging global ecological problems.

All of these are mere symptoms of the root problems that you don't want to deal with.

Constant unchecked growth is a cancer by definition.

If you let it take its course unchecked the end result is obvious.

I think the perfect metaphor for all this is Tolstoy's parable. "How Much Land Does a Man Need?"

It is well worth asking: How much land does humanity need?

Is there no discussion that you will not ruin with your ignorant obsession. Your personal ideal world is not necessarily that of the rest of humanity. The kind of spaces you prefer bears no resemblance to the carrying capacity of the Planet. This was intenced to be a discussion about the Planet of the Humans and the implications: not somewhere for you to pester us with your fetish.

"Is there no discussion that you will not ruin with your ignorant obsession. "

It is impossible to have a serious conversation about the environment without taking the two main factors into account that is destroying it.

Obsessively ignoring them as you do accomplishes nothing, but to brush the root problems under the carpet. Its convenient for you to do so, because then you don't to have face reality.

The article you yourself posted used this topic as its key objection to Moore's narrative in the film.

"The kind of spaces you prefer bears no resemblance to the carrying capacity of the Planet."

What do you think the "carrying capacity of the planet" is?

Go away. You are too dense for any of this. Or would you prefer I stalk you and derail everything you start?

You've been doing it for ages.

You are far too dense to engage in intelligent and rational conversation, so when faced with the relevant questions and the tough facts, time and again you predictably resort to ad hom inanity in order to derail conversations and to as a result hopelessly attempt to obscure your intellectual defectiveness.

You woke up! Rub the sleep out of your eyes: splash some cold water on your face: have a coffee or two. Then go back to sleep so as not to overtax your brain.
