Brendan Whitworth went viral for his non-apology with some declaring it 'one of the worst corporate statements' ever

Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth was widely panned on social media for his statement purportedly addressing the uproar over Bud Light's controversial partnership with viral trans activist Dylan Mulvaney.

On Friday, Whitworth published a lengthy statement hoping to tamp down the animosity aimed at Bud Light and its parent company.

Critics across the ideological spectrum lit Whitworth's statement on fire, the vast majority of them concluding he said "nothing" while some pointed out that he did not directly mentioned either Bud Light or Mulvaney.

"The company is going to find a statement like this only emboldens the bigots, while simultaneously turning off the people who supported their move to feature Dylan Mulvaney in the first place. Way to make sure you anger everybody over this issue. Sigh," NPR TV critic Eric Deggans knocked the beer giant.

"Pissing off both sides by kind of apologizing but also not apologizing was…a choice!" Marist College adjunct professor Bailey Carlin exclaimed.

"Honestly one of the worst corporate statements I’ve ever read. Just 100% air," Forbes writer Paul Tassi declared.

How about … just selling beer? Corporations should focus on their business instead of social engineering," DeSantis campaign aide Christina Pushaw wrote. "Also, this statement didn’t include a word about the actual controversy. Keep up the boycott - it’s noticed. We need to keep making woke virtue signaling costly for them."

Good, long, juicy article.

The statement itself is woke.

pb declared yesterday that he thinks that Bud Light is a gonner, there's no actual boycott, that too many in Bud Light's customer base have already decided to choose Miller or Coors or Old Milwaukee or sumpthin else...and NO ONE is going to start drinking Bud Light to be "inclusive."

Yesterday, pb opined that Anheuser-Busch should be okay because people will dump Bud Light but not turn against the whole brand. But, with this offensive non-statement Anheuser-Busch is making a play at inserting the whole brand itself into the controversy.

Clearly, by it's refusal to immediately fire Alissa Heinerscheid after that offensive woke video emerged in which she absolutely trashed current Bud Light drinkers, Anheuser-Busch is asking for it.

pb looooooooooves this!

He's been detailing a backlash against woke-ism since he first discerned it among LGBs during last year's LGBT Pride celebration. And, the backlash is building.

So, for the moment, if you go woke, be prepared to pay a price.

Bahahahahahahahahahaha!
