"Alejandro N. Mayorkas has repeatedly violated laws enacted by Congress regarding immigration and border security. In large part because of his unlawful conduct, millions of aliens have illegally entered the United States on an annual basis with many unlawfully remaining in the United States,” the articles state. “His refusal to obey the law is not only an offense against the separation of powers in the Constitution of the United States, it also threatens our national security and has had a dire impact on communities across the country.”

Absolutely true.

The man has resolutely refused to fulfill his oath of office. Still, I can't see that as what impeachment is for...unless as a "high misdemeanor" in its very sense.

The problem is that the Dems cheapened Impeachment with their deranged TrumpHate. The bell can't be unrung.

I, for one, here, warned po that this'd happen. It has. Mayorkas may very well be impeached by the whole House... and we'll never be the same.

Mitt Romney believed that both Trump impeachments met the standard of high crime and misdemeanors. Other Republicans (and congressional Democrats) believed that Trump's impeachments were warranted. Mitch McConnell said "Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the [January 6th] day".

Republicans cannot undo Trump's impeachments, but they can make impeachments seem commonplace. Which is what they are doing now in at least two different fronts.

    1. Mitt, who's a pbGOP incidentally, is also a Dem house n!gg€r... who ranks second only to Liz Cheney among GOPs in severity of deranged TrumpHate.

    2. The GOP is the home of openness and inclusion, diversity, tolerance, acceptance and freethinking.

Congressional Dems demeaned the significance of impeachment with Trump... GOPs have now followed along. And, we'll never be the same.
